This year is a big year for Kingdom Hearts 3! A demo lasting over an hour was available at a special event for youtubers, the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra debuted in June at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion where the release date was announced to be January 29th 2019, and at E3 two new trailers for the game premiered at with a playable demo inside the convention center. I was available to attend the concert and play the demo at E3 and it was an experience I will not soon forget. Below is the Kingdom Hearts 3 Pirates trailer that was first shown at the Sony Press Conference. This video is from Kingdom Hearts Youtube channel.

The Concert experience was truly something special. The video, from dualshockers youtube page, below does not do it justice, but it does give an idea of what the concert was like. Being able to sit and listen to this stunning orchestra play music from the series of Kingdom hearts while watching footage from the game was a fantastic experience. I did not record footage of this concert because, right before the concert started, an announcement was made warning the audience that if anyone was caught taking photos or recording footage of the concert that they would be escorted out of the theater. I was sitting fairly close to the stage and thought that it was not worth the risk. Thankfully other audience members thought differently. During the concert, composer Yoko Shimomura and director Tetsuya Nomura, made special appearances. The surprises came at the very end of the concert when music from Toy Story World played for the very first time to the public. When Tetsuya Nomura appeaered he showed a preview of the E3 trailer with the release date of January 29th 2019. The audience cheered even though the game was delayed from December 2018. Mr. Nomura apologized multiple times for the delay but felt the need for extra time to complete the game.

Below are images that I took from the venue. The first is a poster promoting the event and the second is a poster showing what items are for sale at the second floor.

At the second floor I purchased The official Soundtrack. It only has 12 tracks that was played at the concert and it sis missing quite a few songs like the opening and closing instrumental versions and the Toy Story World music. Still, the artwork on the album, the CD and the pamphlet is nice to look at.

The Pamphlet has a track listing as well as some words written by the director of the game, Tetsuya Nomura, and the composer, Yoko Shimomura.

The World Tour Book has artwork, interviews and a full song listing of what was played at the concert. I only provided the images of the front and back cover and the first page of the book. If you want to see the rest I recommend that you buy it at khshop.wildfaery.com There you can buy the products that were available at the concert.

These images are from a big screen above the Square Enix booth. they were showing multiple trailers from the various press conferences. The images below are from the Kingdom Hearts 3 Pirates trailer.

The following images are different people playing the two worlds that was available to attendees at this years E3. You start off fighting Titan at Olympus. This seems to be the first boss of the game as he was fairly easy to defeat and it played like a tutorial by telling you what to do at certain points in the fight. The second part was at Toy Story World where Sora was introduced to Woody and the gang. I was able to fight in Andy's room, then go outside and fight in the neighborhood, and finally go to Galaxy Toys where I jumped in a mecha toy and shoot up the mecha toys that had heartless in them. The game play lasted about 30 minutes. 10 in Olympus and 20 in Toy Story World.

The

The game is now available for preorder and you can get a deluxe edition with artwork and figures. They showed the prototype of these figures at the booth. This edition would look really good in my collection.
